Job Description

Your primary focus will be to maintain adequate levels of inventory and ensure all supplier deliveries arrive on time for production.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing and contact management instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Review systems and reporting to better manage purchasing and inventory control practices.
  • Locate materials and research new suppliers to determine best quality, cost and shortest possible lead times.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for materials.
  • Follow up and chase suppliers for dispatch dates and ETA’s for all Purchase Orders.
  • Maintain supplier relationships undertaking monthly and quarterly meetings with key suppliers to review SIFOT and general supplier performance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, maintain forecasts and buffer levels to minimise out of stocks.
  • Undertake and manage rolling stocktakes in the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain a Kanban board in the factory to communicate the status of material to all stakeholders.
